Reigning Kings Beer
Sustainable Product and Packaging Design
Reigning Kings Beer, “Because in here everyones deserves to be king” Much like a majority of the country at the time I got really obsessed with the craft beer movement when it was first introduced by the company Sam Adams. My love for the brew quickly rose and I soon started into the world of home brewing and growing my own hops. I was really in it to win it and I honestly thought one day I too would try and start my own micro brewery of sorts. So lots of thought went into what that company would represent and how it would look and what the name would be. After some time this is what I came up with.
Reigning Kings Beer
When thinking of what i want to represent my dream beer company I knew right away that i wanted to develop a character of some sort to help carry my brand message. When thinking of my favorite product characters growing up ( Tony The Tiger, etc ) I thought why not think in this same realm but to try to deliver a positive message also if possible. So I thought a sheep is an animal that not many (if any) people are frightened of. In fact when you think of a masculine animal a sheep os the furthest from that and thats exactly why I went with it. I wanted to show right away that we don’t represent just the strong and masculine, but we represent everyone of all shapes and sizes.View Project Gallery
Turning trash into something wearable
Sustainable was a word that came up often when designing and thinking about how I wanted the Reigning Kings Beer companies product lines to work and look. I knew that i wanted to create something that people could not only reuse but also have fun with if possible. Thats where the wearable crown idea came in. I thought… wouldn’t it be cool if after I had about 6 beers and cleared out the 6-pack, what if I could rip the bottom of it out and wear it as a crown, which makes this a sustainable packaging design. 🙂View Project Gallery
